We recognise that the focus on learning English is different for everyone and for this reason we take a highly personalised approach. While for some people, English classes may be needed for business or professional purposes, for others the focus may be to improve fluency in English so as just to engage with people on a daily basis here in Ireland. Athlone is a dynamic town in the Irish Midlands a little over one hour's drive from Dublin and 50 minutes from Galway City. Situated on the banks of the River Shannon, this bustlng town is home to a number of excellent secondary schools to which many international students from Spain, Italy and other countries come to spend the academic school year mproving their English language skills.

I’m Gabrielle Begadon and I started teaching English some years ago after completing a Cambridge CELTA qualification in University College Cork. I then went on to teach English to international students at two of Ireland's universities, UCC and DCU which I hugely enjoyed and learnt a lot from. As well as living in Ireland, I've lived
I’m Gabrielle Begadon and I started teaching English some years ago after completing a Cambridge CELTA qualification in University College Cork. I then went on to teach English to international students at two of Ireland's universities, UCC and DCU which I hugely enjoyed and learnt a lot from. As well as living in Ireland, I've lived in France, USA, and The Netherlands where I worked in a number of dynamic and highly progressive international companies and gained valuable experience which I bring to my teaching in English for Business classes.
As well as being a native English speaker, I speak French and Dutch. It is my belief that my experience of other cultures - learning other languages and working with many other nationalities in dynamic environments - has helped me hugely in understanding the many challenges faced by people who now live, study and work in Ireland and whose first language is not English.
